We are creative again - the Saab hoodies are coming!

Autumn is here, and so the opportunity to adapt your Saab outfit accordingly is approaching. The T-shirts will soon go into the closet – until next summer. Jackets and hoodies are brought out. Our textile autumn-winter project is to bring the corresponding clothing items to Saab level.

As always, this is not entirely selfless, but also because my wardrobe has a few supply gaps. A few stylish hoodies and jackets wouldn't hurt, but it would be even better if it also said Saab. As always, the question arises – what are we designing? For this reason, the last few days have been particularly caffeine intensive.

Here is the current status regarding the Saab Hoodies, a quick look behind the scenes.

Since we have already digitized a lot of Saab, there is always the temptation to use an existing design and transfer it to a new project. Of course, this solution saves work, poses little challenge, but is also half as much fun. And if we're going to dare to do something new, then it really has to be new.

Saab hoodies – the ones you want to wear

It was relatively easy to choose the textiles. We had ordered several jackets and hoodies to sample, and we chose by far the most expensive models. Why? You don't have to talk too much about it, but if you feel comfortable in a hoodie right away - the quality also stands up to critical scrutiny - then it will probably be the right one.

Because that’s what matters – you have to want to wear it. And you definitely want that!

I chose our supplier's design workshop to create designs for the current project. One of the advantages – there are a wide variety of materials that you can feel, see and try out. This includes materials that I haven't worked with before and that are really fun to experiment with.

The other advantage – undisturbed work. My actual life is putting a lot of that on the table at the moment, so it's helpful to simply not be available for a while.

The result? The hours passed - and if you try a lot of things, they fly by particularly quickly. Perhaps the disappointing news would be that we have not finished developing any Saab jackets. We're still working on that. But our good news would be: we have designed two different Saab hoodies that are particularly appealing.

For us, they are definitely a favorite hoodie. The performance will come next week, and yes – you can already be excited and excited after this teaser today!
