This Sonett II V4 wears the iconic yellow of the early Saab years
The iconic yellow that Saab liked to play with didn't just come with the Monte Carlo Cabriolets. The Sonett II V4, which celebrated its premiere at the IAA in Frankfurt am Main in autumn 1967, wore it from the 1969 model year onwards. This color goes perfectly with the small Swedish sports car.
It makes the Sonett visually faster, sportier and more attractive. Yellow is always iconic at Saab, but in the 60s few new car buyers were interested in this paintwork. And unfortunately also on the Sonett II. What was actually a home-made problem for which the car manufacturer's management was responsible.
