Have you noticed that there are cars that never seem to lose their appeal? At Saab, among other things, the eternal black temptation beckons. The Saab Turbo X appeared on the scene in 2008. It was supposed to herald the revival of the brand, which was threatening to become increasingly boring under the GM regime.
It had to be black, like all the black Saab 900 Turbo 16S before it, which have gone down in history as icons. The revival came too late; it collided with the financial crisis and years of failure. What remains is the Turbo X. One of those cars that you wish there had been more of this type of Saab.
