Wheel hub motor - Emily GT project has it, Ferrari gets it

It can be undisputed that the Emily GT project, developed by former Saab engineers, is ahead of its time. If fate had been a little kinder, the electric car with four wheel hub motors would have already been in production for 12 or 18 months. Unique in its performance class and a milestone in automotive development.

Wheel hub motors promise unique handling and open up new horizons in terms of driving dynamics. For generations of engineers, their realization is a dream come true. On which research has been carried out for more than 100 years (Link). Ferrari suggests that Trollhättan could have made automotive history again. Because the Italians are also relying on this technology for their new electric car.
