Our ongoing restoration is slowly approaching its finale. Two more steps and then we can reassemble the Saab 9-3 Aero after a long time. Admittedly, it makes me feel a little sick to my stomach when I see the badly damaged looking car on the lift in front of me.
But Gérard Ratzmann from Saab Service Frankfurt, who continues to patiently guide me through the project, exudes confidence. Sure, he's been doing this for decades. For me, however, it is a first for every project. Today the underbody of the Saab is to be painted, the trunk and also the front spoiler.
And once again I think we would be done with everything. But that's still not who we are.
