The engine and body are overhauled and the vehicle is in a remarkable condition. Even if there are currently no classic car trips and rallies, with a 99 you are certain of the starting place. And even if it is much too good for it: it would also be absolutely suitable for the daily driver.
We have carefully and optically refurbished the vehicle over the past two years. The current owner has spared no expense and effort and has made targeted and sustainable investments in the vehicle. That pays off: there is no maintenance backlog, no necessary repairs have been put on the back burner. We always paid attention to quality.
This Saab 99 is unique - we dare to say that without hesitation. A piece of automotive history - with a TRIUMPH engine. Untinkered, cleverly restored, absolutely true to series.
Of course, it has an H mark. The color: Tyrol green is quite rare.
The Saab 99 was designed by Sixten Sason and rolled off the assembly line from 1968 to 1987 (as Saab 90). In addition to the two-door variant (as here), there was also a four-door. Due to its stable construction, it received homologation for motorsport WITHOUT the need for a roll bar. Not many vehicles can say that.
